OBS Fuse Bridge is a Windows Meeting SDK production utility that routes permitted Zoom participant video into OBS Studio through a native OBS plugin and isolated Zoom engine.

2. Adding / installing OBS Fuse Bridge

Step 1. Obtain the OBS Fuse Bridge installer from the private distribution channel provided by the developer.
Step 2. Close OBS Studio before installation.
Step 3. Run the installer and allow it to install the OBS plugin, native engine, required runtime files, and local AI model components supplied with the release.
Step 4. Start OBS Studio.
Step 5. Open Tools → OBS Fuse Bridge. After a successful connection, the dock can be shown from the OBS Docks menu if it is not already visible.

3. Joining a meeting

A human operator manually initiates every connection.

  1. Open OBS Studio and OBS Fuse Bridge.
  2. Enter or select the required meeting information.
  3. Choose the available connection method shown by the approved build.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. If the meeting uses Waiting Room, wait for the host to admit the OBS Fuse Bridge participant.
  6. When Zoom requires recording/live-streaming/raw-media permission, request the permission from the host inside the meeting.
  7. Do not access protected meeting media unless the required permission is active.

4. Main interface

Program

The Program area is the primary video output intended for OBS production. It uses a fixed production canvas so source changes do not resize the OBS source.

Switchboard

The Switchboard displays the next eligible camera-on participant. Operators can hold, skip, or route the selected participant to Program. The queue is designed to remain bounded at the raw-renderer level even when the meeting roster is large.

Pinned Locale Wall

Important multi-person Locale feeds may be pinned for fast access. Pinned Locale thumbnails are cached locally for operator convenience. Dragging a pinned Locale to Program switches that feed into the live production path.

Automatic Locale discovery

When enabled in the supplied build, offline local analysis can inspect eligible raw-video feeds to identify likely multi-person Locale feeds. The classification runs on the operator's computer. Completed stable feeds are remembered so the application does not continuously re-analyze every participant; new or meaningfully changed camera feeds can be inspected when they become eligible.

Transitions

Program changes use the application's configured smooth transition path. The production source is designed to maintain stable geometry and monotonic presentation timing during changes.

5. Meeting permissions and indicators

OBS Fuse Bridge is a participant-side production application. Zoom and the meeting host remain in control of access. When Zoom requires host permission before meeting content can be processed, the operator must obtain it. If that permission is revoked, protected content must no longer be accessed.

6. Disconnecting

  1. Finish any live production or recording activity.
  2. Click Disconnect in OBS Fuse Bridge.
  3. Confirm that the Fuse Bridge participant leaves the meeting.
  4. Close OBS when production is complete.

7. Removing OBS Fuse Bridge

  1. Close OBS Studio.
  2. Use the OBS Fuse Bridge uninstaller supplied with the release, or remove it through Windows installed-app management if the release registers there.
  3. Restart OBS and confirm the OBS Fuse Bridge plugin/menu entry is gone.
  4. Delete optional local diagnostics/configuration only if you no longer need them.
